IME, it is insidious, intentional, calmly claiming no memory of abuses is just as much of an act as the violent raging.Once targets catch on, perpetrators of coercive control carefully strategize to include escalating & seemingly random bursts of violence w/o witnesses & either blame victims or threaten them if they try to tell anyone or get help.Once they strangle a child victim they will never be safe to be around again, research shows they will do it again, & the threat of homicide increases astronomically.Why do lawyers, judges, GALs, reunification therapists get to refuse investigation & evidence to hide the crimes with the goal of restoring access to the victims & directly endangering them or letting the harassment & stalking cause more trauma to all victims & profit from it with no consequences?https://lnkd.in/g2DfEYEQ
